By accessing or using OTOOL, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

2. Service Description

OTOOL provides web-based PDF processing tools including conversion, editing, compression, and AI-assisted comparison. Services are provided "as is" with AI-assisted, source-based processing. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee error-free results.

3. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use our services
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • One account per user; no account sharing
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content
  • Attempt to breach security or overwhelm our systems
  • Use automated tools to access services beyond plan limits
  • Reverse engineer or copy our technology
  • Resell or redistribute our services without authorization

5. Payment and Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
  • Refunds available within 30 days of purchase
  • You're responsible for all charges on your account

6. File Processing and Deletion

All uploaded files are automatically and permanently deleted within 1 hour of processing. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your original files. We are not liable for data loss.

7. AI-Assisted Features

Our AI features provide source-based, context-aware analysis. Results should be reviewed and verified, especially for critical applications. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy and are not liable for errors in AI-generated results.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to files you upload. You grant us temporary permission to process files as requested. OTOOL and our technology are protected by copyright and other laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

OTOOL is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months.

10. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice.

11. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, with notice when possible.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes.
